A Hammond Dude

The first time i decided to play this song i wasnt sure about what i was doing cause i thought that it would be too much for a Greek wedding party to handle it.
But the set was perfect, a private sandy beach with an open bar and 40 people at the age of 30-40sth "under my command"
After a big hit wave from the last five decades that lasted about three hours or sth, this song came and made some of the people there start to move so smoothly and gently, they almost made the sand straight again..!

Well to be honest, someone must be extra careful if he wants to play this one in public.
There is a big chance of everybody looking at you like you fell from the sky, espesially if you're doing ya thing while playing it ;)

This is Mr. Jimmy Smith (always wanted to say that!) and his amazing Root Down (And Get It) live performance that was recorded in Los Angeles on February 8, 1972.
Bon Appétit
